Besides Formula 1, a race weekend usually sees other racing categories in action. At the Zandvoort circuit, this is no different. Only the categories in action are different from previous years during the Dutch Grand Prix.
Pevious editions of the Grand Prix in the Netherlands also featured Formula 1's junior classes. Both Formula 2 and Formula 3 will not be in action at Zandvoort this year. This will also be the case for next year. This is because the F2 and F3 want to compete on the same circuits in Europe. There is no room in the Zandvoort paddock for both.
This year, the F1 Academy is new to the programme at the Dutch coastal resort. Since the start of this season, all Formula 1 teams have supported the programme for female drivers. In addition to sponsoring and supplying materials, this also means that the F1 Academy will be in action during Formula 1 weekends, so Zandvoort is one of them.
The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, which has competed in previous editions in the Netherlands and will do so again this year, just the schedule as it did in previous years at Zandvoort. Of course, the top class of motorsport itself will also be in action at Zandvoort.
