F1 drivers' standings after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

With his victory at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Oscar Piastri has taken the championship lead from Lando Norris.

Max Verstappen lost as little ground as possible with his second-place finish in Jeddah and is now two points behind Norris.

Piastri is ten points ahead of Norris in the standings. Verstappen remains in third place, just two points behind Norris. Behind them are George Russell and Charles Leclerc in fourth and fifth places, ahead of Kimi Antonelli and Lewis Hamilton.

Piastri was very impressive at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, taking his third win in five races to start 2025. Verstappen was penalised for the incident at the start where he cut the corner, receiving a five-second penalty, which meant he dropped down the standings after the pit stops.

As a result, Verstappen had to settle for second place, a better result than he had expected at the start of the weekend. Charles Leclerc secured the final spot on the podium, finishing ahead of George Russell and Lando Norris.
