McLaren has a strong driver line-up with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Piastri is currently leading the world drivers' championship, with Norris not far behind. Jan Lammers explains what he thinks will happen with the McLaren duo.
Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton were good friends before they began fighting for titles against each other, especially for the 2016 title.
Now, Norris and Piastri are in the same predicament as they were. They are teammates who are fighting each other for the world title. However, Lammers told GPBlog that he has no worries.
He said, "No, not at all" when asked if he thought the situation would be similar to 2016.
He emphasised, "These guys are sensible enough."
"If it's not Norris [who is sensible enough], then it's Piastri. They will take care of it."
He said that this doesn't mean the two wont clash on and off track but he did say, "It might just escalate incidentally. But overall, I think they are just two very sensible people."
