Four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel retired from F1 back in 2022. The German has no intention of returning to the competition, and that is also because of a special reason.

Vettel's children clear about the father's return

Since then, Vettel has adjusted to life outside of Formula 1. In the Boxengasse Podcast of Sky Sports Germany, he began: "I think it has worked out well [to get into a different rhythm]. The family peace still exists! [Vettel laughs] I'm used to it."

Vettel's kids are also glad to see their father is not following traveling all over the world, but stays at home instead. "My children told me I'm not allowed to race anymore because they like it so much that I am there. That's of course wonderful, hearing something like that."

After many rumours about the four-time world champion making a return as a driver over the past two seasons, now, another one now is whether he would take over Helmut Marko's role in the future at Red Bull.

Whether that would be something Vettel is interested in, he explained he does not know yet.
