Lewis Hamilton's first few races with Ferrari have been a little bumpy. While he has won a sprint race, he has also been disqualified. According to Damon Hill, it's up to the seven-time world champion to adjust and realise he is somewhere different from what he is used to.
In his Instagram story, Hill stated: "Settling into a new team is hard. Disorienting, strange. It's easy to lose bearings, familiar landmarks etc. It takes a while. But he remains Lewis Hamilton. Needs an engineering team with him and to this will be different from what he is used to."
Hamilton currently lies seventh in the World Drivers Championship. His teammate, Charles Leclerc, is only two places higher in fifth. So far, Ferrari has not made an impact on the 2025 season. The team is fourth in the constructors' championship, behind Red Bull Racing.
However, Max Verstappen is responsible for 69 of the 71 points scored by Red Bull. For the two Ferrari drivers to be behind one of the Red Bull drivers is not a good look.
For Ferrari, it is important for them to have a good next few races. The next race will be the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix this weekend. This is a race that Hamilton has won before. Can he do it again?
