Ferrari have hinted that a special livery for the Miami Grand Prix weekend, the sixth race of the 2025 Formula 1 season, will be in use for the Italian team.
The Scuderia seem to have something special in store for the race weekend in Florida, the first of three races in the United States, hinting at a special livery, possibly even with a blue tint.
After an intense triple header, Formula 1 finally has a well-deserved week of rest this week, before the next race is scheduled. However, we don't have to wait long for this, with only a week break taking place before the F1 circus rolls into Miami.
It promises to be a special weekend for fans of Ferrari. Through a video on social media, the team has hinted at a special announcement, with the video showing Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton together with a designer working on the livery of the SF-25.
The video also incorporates shots showing the car in the twilight, revealing many blue accents to the usual scarlet red livery, seeming highly likely that Scuderia will be driving with a special livery in Miami.
The caption of the video reads: "Miami, keep this date free. Scuderia Ferrari and HP have something for you. You won't want to miss 'lights out'... April 30. Be the first to see it", sounds the mysterious message from Ferrari and sponsor HP.
Of course, Ferrari had a special blue livery for the Miami Grand Prix last year, also incorporating blue tints to their usual red livery last time out, with Charles Leclerc making the podium with a P3 finish in 2024, the race where Lando Norris took his first-ever win in F1. For Ferrari, it looks like a similar design may be coming to Florida again.
