FP2 was a very smooth session until the last 10 minutes. Despite other drivers having small wall hits or barely clipping the wall, it was not until there were seven minutes left that a driver actually hit the wall. Tsunoda clipped the left side of the wall and then steered into the right side of the wall.
Three other drivers, Oscar Piastri, Alexander Albon, and Kimi Antonelli, also touched the wall. Antonelli’s touch was the most drastic of the three, but ultimately, only minor changes needed to be made.
Before the session even started, a driver was out. Gabriel Bortoleto had to sit out FP2 while a gas leak issue was investigated.
Tsunoda was able to stay close to Verstappen until his collision.
Ferrari had mixed results. Charles Leclerc was in the top 5 for most of the session, while Lewis Hamilton stayed in the bottom 10.
