Stella upset after Verstappen's statement: 'Wondering what Red Bull must be thinking

Max Verstappen stated after the Japanese Grand Prix that he would have won the race in a McLaren with an even larger margin. Andrea Stella was asked by Sky Sports Italy about the remark from the Red Bull Racing driver. The Italian had a clear answer.

Stella responds to Verstappen's statement about McLaren

The team principal of McLaren wondered: “What will the Red Bull employees think when they hear their driver talk about the car they have built? Shouldn't the driver be the ambassador of a team's values? A little solidarity with the Red Bull employees, then.”

Stella continued clearly: “Max is not only excellent in the car… excellent might not be the right word, but he is superb in the car. But he is also superbly competent in politics and communication. He knows how to stir things up.”

Stella is not the only one who reacted to Verstappen's remark. Lando Norris also had something to say about the Dutchman's statement. The Brit suggested that he would like to see the disappointment of the Red Bull Racing driver if he had driven in the McLaren.
