Lando Norris had put down his less than optimal F1 results to the McLaren car being difficult to drive, something Bahrain Grand Prix winner, Oscar Piastri begs to differ with.

Norris, following his P6 result in Qualifying on Saturday once again stated he was not comfortable in the MCL39, stressing however, that it was his job to drive the car he was given.

After his Bahrain Grand Prix win, Piastri expressed an opposing sentiment to his teammate when asked regarding his level of comfort in McLaren's 2025 F1 car.

"This weekend I felt comfortable with it," said the Australian during the FIA post race conference.

McLaren has done great to of fixing their F1 car says Piastri

While acknowledging that the car has been difficult at times, Piastri states he has been happy with the car for the most part.

"I think clearly it's got a lot of pace," added the Australian, before revealing that the Woking-based team knew since before the start of the season that the MCL39 still needed some improvements.

"We've kind of known from pre-season testing that there's some things that we want to iron out, but I think we've done a very good job of doing that. I think for myself I've been comfortable, especially this weekend, in what the car's been able to do. I think the team's been doing a great job."
