Red Bull Helmut Marko top advisor has hinted at when Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet's first child together will be born.
According to Marko, stars might align perfectly for the four-time world champion, and his first child will not be born during a Grand Prix weekend.
When asked about whether Verstappen is scheduled to make an appearance at any track when the baby is expected, Marko answered:."No," to Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung. "The due date does not coincide with a race weekend of Max and is scheduled for early May," he explained.
According to the medium, 6 May is mentioned therefore as the potential due date, which would be after the Miami Grand Prix.
"Mini-Max" already has a perfect sense of timing, Marko jokes. If Piquet indeed gives birth after that weekend, Verstappen could be there when he becomes a father for the first time.
However, the Dutchman is not too stressed about the situation, and previously explained that F1 drivers do not have the same luxury of skipping a single event like footballers could.
After a baby shower on Verstappen's luxurious yacht called 'Unleash the Lion', the Brazilian has accidentally revealed the gender of the first child together. In a message that was in the guestbook, it is written that Penelope will have a sister. Piquet deleted that aforementioned photo shortly after.
