Lance Stroll says he may not complete the season in the Williams cockpit. His father, Lawerence Stroll now owns Force India after buying them out of administration. It's expected that the 19-year-old will join the team next year, but may well start sooner.

If the move occurs, it will trigger a driver shake-up. Sergio Perez confirmed in the week that he has almost signed an extension at the Pink Panthers. This will leave Esteban Ocon in trouble.

Speaking to motorsport, Stroll junior is still committed to improving the struggling Williams this weekend.

“Well, nothing’s guaranteed, but right now, I’m going to be just focused on this weekend and I’m going to give it my all like I always do and we’ll see what the future holds.

“Right now, I’m going to be just taking it weekend by weekend and we’ll see what happens.

“I’m committed to Williams, I have a contract with Williams. We’ve achieved some good success in the past, last year, so right now I’m going to try and beat them [Force India].”

Force India will now race under the name Racing Point Force India following late agreements before practice tomorrow.
