Isack Hadjar has revealed he's not concerned by the threat that other drivers in Red Bull Racing's talent pool may suppose for him and he hopes his performances in F1 so far, have managed to prove his critics wrong.

Helmut Marko is very vocal in his admiration of Hadjar, yes, but also of Arvid Lindblad who became thew youngest race winner in F2 with his win in Jeddah last weekend. Is the Brit a cause for concern for the French Algerian?

Does Hadjar feel threatened by other Red Bull drivers?

“It's a good question but honestly my whole career I've only looked ahead and that's what I keep doing,” said the Frenchman.

After his Australia blunder, Hadjar managed to get his season back on track showing strong performances both in qualifying and in the races, with the final race in Jeddah seeing him battle his way up to P10 and battling with the Williams until the flag dropped.

Elaborating on his Melbourne crash, and how he managed to bounce back from it, the Racing Bulls rookie said: “I think it's the love for racing honestly. I just love it so much and I'm just committed to it. That's why a tough hit like Melbourne is not enough to bring me down because I love driving and giving my best.”

Not only did Hadjar manage to overcome the tough blow from the race in Australia, but he has also been able to prove his worth, he notes. “It was not my goal, but I hope it's visible.”

The French Algerian rookie will now use the week off between Jeddah and Miami to keep building on his strengths. First two races were really just to learn, get in the rhythm and now we had the triple header so didn't have much time to analyze but now we have a bit of a break and we make the most of it to understand our weakness.,” said Hadjar.
