Force India future still uncertain

Force India's legal problems have to be sorted out and clarified in the next day, as the team face the possibility of missing out on the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend if not.

It turns out that Force India are still in administration.

Lance Stroll, the man who supposedly saved Force India, has failed to meet the two-week deadline to completely take over at the tem.

Drinks company Diageo and Dr Vijay Mallya struck a loan deal, and that has still not been paid back and this has also slowed down the process of Force India coming out of administration.

Trying to complete the takeover, Stroll has now purchased all of the assets, he has everything that is required for the team to enter a Grand Prix, apart from the slightly important race entry - which technically is owned by Force India.

The race entry issue has also been one at the likes of Renault, Williams and McLaren during their takeover deals.

FIA regulations state that there are spaces available for teams on the grid - however, this is only if a space is available for that team, and in this case it will be - as Force India are technically replacing themselves.

The Force India logos and references to Mallya's companies UB Group and Kingfisher have been removed from the paddock ahead of the Formula One returning to our television screens this weekend!
