Ferrari is laboriously starting the new Formula 1 season. The car seems disappointing and shows weak performance. There are also technical concerns about the car.
As if this wasn't enough, Ferrari also appears to lose a big sponsor. The Chinese company Weichai was still prominent on the cars during the winter tests, but once arrived in Spielberg the logos of the old sponsor are nowhere to be seen.
It doesn't happen often than a sponsor stops during a season. According to the Italian branch of Motorsport.com, the corona crisis is the reason for the sponsor's departure.
Ferrari is of course not the only team that has lost a major sponsor. Last month it was announced that ROKiT and Williams would split up. For the British team this meant that they also had to adjust the livery completely.
